In the past three years Barbara has painted with oils non
stop. Barbara took the Bob Ross certifications, times 3.
After 360 hours of training she got certified in landscapes,
seascapes, florals and wildlife. She has taken additional
classes from Joyce Ortner, Buck Paulson, Susan Jenkins
and soon from Valerie Stewart. She also is certified 4 ways
with Donna Dewberry and has taught for Donna in the past
at the BEE Painting and Crafting Expo in Florida. Before all
of that she did tole painting too. Now she mainly loves to
paint with oils.
She taught at Michaels for 6 long years, OS and Bob Ross,
until corp Michaels decided to end most classes, that after
she had taught 242 classes in the last 3 years in just Bob
Ross. So now she is teaching on Saturdays at the Hangups,
1625 Columbia Park Trail, Richland WA, (just past Columbia
Center Mall, past Roy's, next to the river, turn left on
Columbia Park Trail, and is about 2 blocks down.)
She will also teach at another location on Sundays in the
future.
